Hello Survivors!

We're excited to roll out a brand-new feature to our Whiteout Survival helper tools: the Troop Ratio Calculator! This tool is designed to help you make more strategic decisions when composing your marches based on enemy scout reports.

✨ What's New?

• Smart Ratio Recommendations: Input your total march size and the enemy troop counts (Infantry, Lancers, Marksmen) from your scout report.

• Counter-Based Logic: The calculator will then suggest an optimal percentage split for your Infantry, Lancers, and Marksmen.

• Specific Troop Counts: Alongside percentages, you'll get the exact number of each troop type to send.

• Dark Mode UI: Designed with a sleek dark mode interface for comfortable viewing, especially during those late-night gaming sessions!

🧠 How Does It Calculate the Ratios? (The Logic Explained)

The calculator uses a "counter-priority" system based on Whiteout Survival's core combat mechanics:

1. Infantry are strong against Lancers.

2. Lancers are strong against Marksmen.

3. Marksmen are strong against Infantry.

Here's a simplified breakdown of the calculation steps:

• Assess Enemy Threats: The tool first looks at the number of each enemy troop type you've reported.

• Determine Counter "Need":

  • The number of enemy Lancers creates a "need" for your Infantry.

  • The number of enemy Marksmen creates a "need" for your Lancers.

  • The number of enemy Infantry creates a "need" for your Marksmen.

• Proportional Allocation: Your total march capacity is then distributed proportionally based on these calculated "needs." For example, if the highest "need" is for Infantry (because the enemy has many Lancers), a larger portion of your march will be allocated to Infantry.

• Zero Enemy Scenario: If the scout report shows no enemy troops (or all counts are zero), the calculator will currently suggest a balanced 33.33% split for each troop type. This provides a general-purpose starting point.

• Rounding & Totals: Percentages are calculated and then troop counts are rounded to ensure your total march size is utilized accurately.

Please remember that this is the first version of the Troop Ratio Calculator. While we've tested it, there's always room for improvement and refinement! We consider this a work in progress.

We're already thinking about potential future enhancements, such as:

• More advanced customization options.

• Refinements to the core logic based on community feedback.

• Consideration for different strategic scenarios.
